My idea is…
“…to install permanent twinkle lights in 50 trees between Lansing and East Lansing on Michigan Avenue. The lighting will remain year-round and should be maintained by a professional lighting expert.”
My idea contributes to a vibrant community by…
“A sense of excitement and fun is always aroused when twinkle lights are used in the landscape. Making the Michigan Ave. corridor walkable, business owners are also trying to increase the ambiance of their properties and twinkle lights in the trees would achieve this. Stringing lights in all of the trees outside would make the space more inviting for passersby at night.
The lighting will improve public safety and will serve the community by creating walkable and inviting public spaces.”
